Answer-

The probability that a randomly selected candle is orange scented is 0.25

Solution-

The total number of candles produced by the company = 8000

They produce equal quantities of cherry, lemon, orange and strawberry

So, number of each candles produced in a day is,

=\frac{\text{Total candles produced}}{4}

=(8000)/(4)\\\\=2000

As the candles are evenly mixed, so

P{(\text{orange candle})}=\frac{\text{number of orange candle}}{\text{total number of candle}}\\\\=(2000)/(8000)\\\\=(1)/(4)=0.25=25\%

Therefore, the probability that a randomly selected candle is orange scented is 0.25
