60 degrees The mass concentration percentage W/V (%) of 60 mg (solute) in 60 ml (water as solvent) can be calculated as follows:

Concentration = Mass/Volume of solution x 100 W/V ( %)

Mass of solute = 60 mg = 0.060 g

Volume of solution = (Volume of solute) + (Volume of water)

Volume of solute = Mass of solute/Density of solute, if the density of solute same as water density = 60 g/cm 3, so

Volume of solute = 0.060 g/(60 g/cm 3)

= 0.060 cm 3
