sum of exterior angles for all polygons is 360°

sum of interior angles for a polygon can be found by using the formula:

(n - 2) · 180° where 'n' is the number of sides

'sum of outer angles' = 360

'twice the sum of inner angles' = 2n

360 = 2n

n = 180

a three-sided polygon (triangle) has 180 degrees
