`(EG)/(HG)` =
`(FG)/(JG)`

`(2x-2)/(15)` =
`(x+9)/(20)` ( cross-multiply )

20(2x - 2 ) = 15(x + 9 ) (distribute both sides )

40x - 40 = 15x + 135 ( subtract 15x from both sides )

25x - 40 = 135 ( add 40 to both sides )

25x = 175 ( divide both sides by 25 )

x = 7
