The point-slope form:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

We have

m=2,\ (1,\ 7)

Substitute:

y-7=2(x-1)\qquad|\text{use distributive property}\\\\y-7=2x-2\qquad|+7\\\\y=2x+5\qquad|-5\\\\y-5=2x\qquad|-y\\\\2x-y=-5

Answer:

point-slope form: y - 7 = 2(x - 1)

slope-intercept form: y = 2x + 5

standard form: 2x - y = -5
