( X ) We can no longer make global statements about the average American family.

In today modern world, the whole 'family' concept itself can be simply defined by global statements. There are families with 2 male parents, 2 female parents, 1 male parent, divorced parents, parents w/ adopted kids, a couple w/ a dog or cat... Looking only at gender issues, we can see for sure that family is a vast idea and has many shapes and forms, and we must respect its ways, after all this is where the world is heading to anyway... Soon we'll have legally poliafective families with 3 fathers and 2 mothers.
