Move all the terms to one side and make right hand side 0

32x - 4 = 4x^2 + 60

subtract 4x^2 from both sides

-4x^2 + 32x -4 = 60

Subtract 60 from both sides

-4x^2 + 32x - 64=0

a= -4, b= 32, c= -64

discriminant is b^2 - 4ac

(32)^2 - 4(-4)(-64)= 1024 -1024=0

Discriminant b^2 - 4ac=0

so the equation has only one real solution
