“The Scotty Who Knew Too Much” is a short fable written by James Thurber. In that story, Scottie believes that all the animals from the farm that he was visiting on his holidays were afraid of “a certain animal with a white stripe down its back” (referring to the Skunk). The Skunk itself never wanted to cause anyone any harm, he just defended himself whenever he felt threatned or in a situation of danger, like skunks usually do.
