I need help with Dividing! I don't understand this equation: 14÷573 I had gotten the answer 4 remainder 13.. Why do you place the zero next to the 4 and get 40 remainder 13??

an easy way would be to set the problem up as a fraction, then, convert it to a decimal. you would do this by putting the divisor as the numerator and dividend as the denominator (14/573). then, when you convert it to a decimal, you would get 0.024432809773
