If there are 25 students in a class and 16 of them are girls, what percent of the students are girls? Please explain.

if you multiply 16 by 4 you get 64. that means 64 out of 100 students are girls. so, 64%

16/25

multiply by 4/4

percent means out of 100

64/100

64 percent are girls
