That's function doesn't make sense, or doesn't fit the problem.

B(7) = 4 * e^(.08*7)
B(7) = 4 * e^0.56
B(7) ≈ 7

Please double-check the wording and the equation again.

Update: You appear to have transcribed the growth rate incorrectly --> .08 should be 0.8.

Answer:
B(7) = 4 * e^5.6
B(7) ≈ 1081.7056

Answer:
b. 1082
