y = x² + 6

the equation of a line in slope-intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y-intercept )

y = 0.5x - 0.2, y = 4x + 3 and y =
(3)/(4) x +
(1)/(3)

are all in slope- intercept form and represent equations of straight lines

y = x² + 6 is not in this form and is not a straight line equation.

In fact it is the equation of a parabola

Answer:

y=x² +6

Explanation:

This is the only 2nd-degree equation in the group: y = x² + 6. The others are linear equations.
