The y-intercept is -6, and the x-intercept is 18

1. To find x-intercept you have to substitute y=0. Then


0=(1)/(3)x-6,\\ \\(1)/(3)x=6,\\ \\x=18.

x-intercept is (18,0).

2. To find y-intercept you have to substitute x=0. Then


y=(1)/(3)\cdot 0-6,\\ \\y=-6.

y-intercept is (0,-6).
