The formula of a distance between two points:

d=√((x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2)

We have the points (-10, 10) and (-4, 2). Substitute:

d=√((-4-(-10))^2+(2-10)^2)=√(6^2+(-8)^2)=√(26+64)=√(100)=10

Answer: d = 10
