Charlotte measures the distance from the center of a circular garden to its edge and finds it is 43 meters. How long is the path which goes around the outside of the garden?

Answer: 270.29 meters

Explanation:

This is a circle which means that the distance that Charlotte measured from the center of a circular garden to its edge is the radius.

The length of the path which goes around the garden would therefore be the circumference.

Circumference = π * diameter

Diameter = radius * 2

= 43 * 2

= 86 meters

Circumference = 22/7 * 86

= 270.29 meters
