Well it's scientific name is "Rana amurensis" and they are only found in the Eastern Hemisphere in places such as, West and East Siberia, the Russian Far East, Korea, Northern and Central Mongolia, and Northeastern China. You will NEVER see one in North or South America. North America has its own species of Wood Frogs who's scientific name is "Lithobates sylvaticus". It is one of the most existing frogs in all of the Palearctic. They live in coniferous, mixed, and deciduous forests, they also tend to live in very large groups ranging from a few hundred or up to thousands of them in one area. This species avoids dense forests and prefer to live mainly in wet meadows.
