6x - 2 = - 4x + 2 \\ 6x - 2 + 4x = - 4x + 2 + 4x \\ 10x - 2 = 2 \\ 10x - 2 - 6x = 2 - 6x \\ 4x - 2 = 2 - 6x \\ 4x + 6x = 2 + 2 \\ 10x = 4 \\ x = (2)/(5)
I hope this would help
