use the equation

a = \pi {r}^(2)
so the area of X is 153.94, or 49pi
the area of Y is 50.27, or 16pi
so the difference would be 33pi, or the third option from the top.

Answer:

33
\pi

Explanation:

The formula for area of circle is
\pi r^(2).

Area of Circle X =
\pi x 7^2 = 49
\pi

Area of Circle Y =
\pi x 4^2 = 16
\pi

Difference = 49
\pi - 16
\pi = 33
\pi
