Prepositional Phrase: On the corner.

Adjectival Phrase: Playing in town.

Adverbial Phrase: By the fire department.

I just took this in Assignments on e2020 and got it correct.

Noun Phrase: The little girl went to the store with her older brother.

The little girl is a noun phrase. The head noun is girl and the modifier the

adjective little.

Prepositional Phrase: The French tourists waited at the bus stop on the corner.

on the corner (prepositional phrase)

Adjectival Phrase: The new movie playing in town is supposed to be good

playing at in town is a reduced relative clause functioning as an adjective

Adverbial Phrase: The speech on safety was given at the school by the fire department.

At the school is adverbial phrase of place
