PEMDAS is order of operation.

P= Parenthesis

E= Exponents (Example: 6³)

M= Multiplication

D= Division

A= Addition

S= Subtraction

Examples of PEMDAS(Order of operation):

9×6-(36+49)

First: Start by adding 32+49. You do what ever is in the parenthesis first.

32+49=81

Second: You multiply next because, multiplication comes before subtraction.

9×6=54

Third: Subtract 54 from 81.

54-81=27.

I hope this help's you understand PEMDAS!
