Why did the radical republicans disagree with LIncoln?

Well Lincoln didnt agree with their harsh ways of reconstruction. His goal was to peacefully bring everyone together but instead the South supported slavery which Lincoln was strongly against. The radical republicans wanted to punish the South instead of unite them with the rest of the country.
