longest part = 18 m

add the parts of the ratio 2 + 3 = 5

divide 30 by 5 to find the value of 1 part of the ratio

(30)/(5) = 6 ← 1 part

2 parts = 2 × 6 = 12 m

3 parts = 3 × 6 = 18 m ← longest part
