Given:

The expression is

-5x+4-x-1

To find:

The terms, like terms, coefficients and constants.

Solution:

We have,

-5x+4-x-1

It can be written as

=(-5x)+4+(-x)+(-1)

So, terms are
-5x,4,-x,-1.

It two terms have same variable of same degree, then they are called like terms.

-5x,-x are likes terms because degree of variable is 1 and 4, -1 are like terms because degree of variable is 0.

In the product of a number and a variable, the number is called coefficient.

Variable terms are
-5x,-x. So, coefficients are -5 and -1.

Constant terms are free from variable. So, constant terms are 4 and -1.

Terms:
-5x,4,-x,-1;

Like terms:
-5x, -x;4, -1;

Coefficients: -5, -1;

Constants: 4, -1

Therefore, the correct option is c.
