g^(3) is a number to the third power. The little number above the g is called an exponent. Exponents are worded as powers.

A fraction represents division, in which the top number (the numerator) is being divided by the bottom number (the denominator). In this example, it will be something divided by 10.

The answer is: a number to the third power divided by ten.

Hope this helps!

The little 3 you see means "to the third power". We don't know what g is so that is "a number". The horizontal line with the 10 below should be familiar because it makes a fraction with a denominator 10, ie., you divide by 10.

Putting it all together says this is a a number to the third power divided by ten.
