Explanation:

Given the polynomial function y = (3x − 1)(x + 2)(2x + 1)

The zeros of the function occurs at when y = 0

The expression becomes;

(3x − 1)(x + 2)(2x + 1) = 0

3x - 1 = 0

3x = 1

x = 1/3

Also

x = x+2

x = 0-2

x = -2

2x+ 1 = 0

2x = 0-1

2x = -1

x = -1/2

Hence the zeros of the polynomial are 1/3, -2 and -1/2
