Claim:

Young people lack the seriousness and knowledge to know what is best for the country and their fellow compatriots.

This claim can use evidence on how people regret their attitude and change drastically over time specially when out of adolescence.

Counter-Claim:

A common counter-claim would be that: Age doesn't necessarily mean wisdom or intelligence.

This one can be countered by stating that older people had time to evaluate their own viewpoints and change their minds while kinds are most likely going with the flow, since there are many studies that prove it.
