F(x)=3x+3

F(3x)-2 this means to change all x's in f(x) with 3x and the -2 means subtract 2 from the answer

F(x)=3x+3

F(3x)=3(3x)+3

= 9x+3

then -2

= 9x+ 3 -2

= 9x + 1

the linear transformation is that it went from 3x to 9x or 3 times steeper

and it went from + 2 to + 1 or it moved down vertically by 2
