If buying a smartphone for $607 and putting the entire balance on a credit card that charges 18% compounded semi annually, what would the credit card change. In an simplified expression?

I’m confused and don’t know how to start it.

I believe it would be 607x1.18^2n , n being the amount of years and as it is semi annually you double it. I don’t know if that helps or not because the question is worded quite strange sorry
