Number of packages of raisins used =
4(2)/(3).

Number of pounds of raisins in each package =
5(1)/(4) pounds.

Total number of pounds of raisins in
4(2)/(3) packages of raisins =

4(2)/(3)*5(1)/(4).

\mathrm{Convert\:mixed\:numbers\:to\:improper\:fractions}:\quad 4(2)/(3)=(14)/(3)

\mathrm{Convert\:mixed\:numbers\:to\:improper\:fractions}:\quad 5(1)/(4)=(21)/(4)

4(2)/(3)* \:5(1)/(4) =(14)/(3)* (21)/(4)

=(49)/(2)

=24(1)/(2)

Therefore , the baker used
24(1)/(2) pounds of raisin.
