Many political figures, including Congress and the Presidents have mentioned immigration, but so far, not much has changed. Although it is true that they may be here illegally, these undocumented residents should receive a path to citizenship because it is costly to break apart families, they help our economy, and the U.S is based off immigrants, their families, and their ideas, so they should therefore be given a “path to citizenship”.
