Answer: To have a point not in the domain they would have to have a discountinuity or radicals

only B, C,D E have discontinuities or limits on the domain

B,D,E have denominators

B) x^2+2x+1 factors (x+1)^2 so it has 1 point of discontinuity

C has a sqrt root which does not allow negative values of the sqaure root so x cannot be less that 2x-1=0 x cannot be less than 1/2

D(x^2+5x+4) factors to (x+4) (x+1) so it has 2 points of discontinuity

E x cannot equal -3

Answer: B,E
