What is the equation of this line in slope-intercept form (-1,2) (1,-4)

I do not know how to post the picture but the answers are
A. Y= -1/3x - 1
B. Y=-3x -1
C. Y=3x + 1
D. Y=3x - 1

slope = (y2-y1)/((x2-x1)

= (-4-2)/(1-(-1))

= (-6/2)

m = -3

point slope form

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y-2 = -3(x-(-1))

y-2 =-3(x+1)

y-2 = -3x-3

y= -3x-3+2

y=-3x-1
