Given that,

Distance, s= 2.4x 10∧5

Time = 6 hours

Average velocity = ?

Since,

Velocity = Distance / Time

V= 2.4 x 10∧5/ 6 = 40000 km/hr

Velocity will be 40,000 km/hr.

Convert it into m/s.

Velocity = (40,000 * 1000) / (60*60) = 11111.11 m/s

Velocity will be 11,111 m/s approx.
