Currently writing a speech for debate club and I need a con for why community service should not be a requirement for graduation. Can someone leave any cons relating to mental health? Please and thank you.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Not all kids are in the living situation where they can give up time to do that. For example, a boy has an addict mother whos never home, but has younger siblings, so the boy has to parent them himself.

2. Highschool is a really tough time for a lot of people and lots of kids go through really bad depression. When this happens most people are barely able to take a shower and go to school so its even more difficult to put yourself out there for something like comunity service.
