Answer-

The coordinates of the solution to the system of equations is (4, -3)

Solution-

According to the graph the equations are,

y=-(1)/(2)x-1\\\\y=(1)/(4)x-4

We can get the coordinates of the solution to the system of equations, by substitution.

\Rightarrow y=(1)/(4)x-4

Putting the value of y in first equation,

\Rightarrow (1)/(4)x-4=-(1)/(2)x-1

\Rightarrow (1)/(4)x+(1)/(2)x=-1+4

\Rightarrow (3)/(4)x=3

\Rightarrow x=3* (4)/(3)

\Rightarrow x=4

Putting the value of x in the first equation,

y=-(1)/(2)* 4-1=-2-1=-3

Therefore, the coordinates of the solution to the system of equations is (4, -3)
