Original price of 1st book = 2.50

After off of 20%
(20)/(100)*2.50=0.50

Price becomes =
2.50-0.50=2.00

Original price of 2nd book = 4.95

After 20% off
(20)/(100)*4.95=0.99

Price becomes =
4.95-0.99=3.96

Original price of 3rd book = 6

After 20% off
(20)/(100)*6=1.2

Price becomes =
6-1.2=4.8

Hence money saved will be =
0.50+0.99+1.20=2.69

= $2.69
