The decision-making strategy used is a model called elimination by aspects, which was conceived by Amos Tversky. In this model, you will have a list of options. Unlike the usual decision-making strategy where you focus on evaluating the options to decide on the best one, Tversky’s model instead focuses on eliminating options based on the characteristic or feature that you consider most important. As each option falls off the list, this will eventually lead you with only one remaining option to choose.
