Step one:

Given data

diameter= 24ft

radius= 12 ft

area= πr^2

Area= 3.142*12^2

Area= 3.142*144

Area= 452.448 ft^2

Hence if

2 cups of fertilizer for every 10 square feet

x cups will do for 452.448 ft^2

cross multiply we have

x= 452.448 *2/10

x=904.896/10

x=90.5 cups
