Lewis and Clark explored new, uncharted territory and mapped it. They [attempted] to establish good relations with Native Americans. They explored the Columbia River. Lewis and Clark traveled align certain path, which settlers followed to the Pacific Northwest, traders and trappers traveled to this newly charted land. sorry if its not the best
