okay so the equation y two - y one divided by x two - x one will solve this.

what y two means is that you need to plug that in for the second y value. since fractions are in x, y form and you need to start with the second y value, and it would be 3 and following that same idea with y but with the first pair of coordinates it would be 2. so we have done half of this so far by getting 3-2 but we still need to do the same thing we just did BUT for THE X COORDINATES. remember to put the SECOND x coordinate first like we did with the y coordinate. so this portion should be -4 - (-1) all together. never forget if a number has a negative sign! so now the final equation is 3-2 divided by -4 - -1. three minus 2 is 1 and -4 - -1 is -3. now divide your separate answers by each other which is 2 divided by -3 which is -0.666..... you can round that answer or just keep it in fraction form of -2/3 if you’d like.
