Can you help me solve the following inequality –1 > –2(x – 4) – 5(4x – 7).

–1 > –2(x – 4) – 5(4x – 7)

distribute

-1> -2x+8-20x+35

combine like terms

-1> -22x+43

subtract 43 from each side

-44> -22x

divide by -22 (remember to flip the inequality symbol)
