For this case we have the following expressions:

a)
12c-5c, it is observed that they are similar terms so they can be subtracted. So, we have:

12c-5c = 7c in its most simplified form.

b)
6 (4x + 9), to simplify we apply the distibutive property that establishes:

a (b + c) = ab + ac, then:

6 (4x + 9) = 24x + 54

c)
26rs + 17st, it is observed that they are not similar terms because the variables that accompany the coefficients (26 and 17) are different. Thus, the expression can not be simplified.

d)
2w-3 (4v + 3v), we apply distributive property to the terms within parentheses:

2w-12v-9v, add similar terms taking into account that equal signs are added and the same sign is placed, so we have:

2w-21v in its simplified form

ANswer:

12c-5c = 7c

6 (4x + 9) = 24x + 54

26rs + 17st, can not be simplified

2w-3 (4v + 3v) = 2w-21v
