I BET YOU A 100 POINTS YOU WILL NOT ANSWER

President George W. Bush’s speech to the troops on the USS Abraham Lincoln
Our mission continues. Al-Qaida is wounded, not destroyed. The scattered cells of the terrorist network still operate in many nations, and we know from daily intelligence that they continue to plot against free people. The proliferation of deadly weapons remains a serious danger. The enemies of freedom are not idle, and neither are we. Our government has taken unprecedented measures to defend the homeland — and we will continue to hunt down the enemy before he can strike.

Which type of evidence would best support the president’s claim in this excerpt?

A. Interviews with families of the people serving on the USS Lincoln
B. Photographs of the landscapes in Afghanistan and Iraq
C. Descriptions of the climate differences in the areas at war
D. Specific information about known terrorist activities

I THINK ITZ D BUT I NEED ASSURANCE

Hi there!

Answer - D. Specific information about known terrorist activities

Why - The reason I chose D is becase of the fact that there are were times where terrorists have attacked many times. In the paragraph it dosen't state interviewing anyone about certain terrorist activities, taking photographs of Iran and Afghanistan does not even relate to terrorist attacks, and finally the climate does not even have anything to do with the question itself. So in this question option D makes the most since.

Hope This Helps :)
