The class has nine boys and 15 girls what is the ratio in simplest form that compares the number of boys to the total number of students

3:8 is the answer I believe. You add 9 and 15 together, then you use 3 to simplify them both.


3 goes into 9, 3 times
3 goes into 24, 8 times



That is the simplest form
