x^3−4x^2−3x+18=0

(x - 3)^2 (x + 2) = 0

A

since x = 3 is a zero then (x - 3) is a factor

dividing x³ - 4x² - 3x + 18 by (x - 3) gives

x³ - 4x² - 3x + 18 = (x - 3)(x² - x - 6 ) = 0,

(x - 3)(x - 3 )(x + 2 ) = 0

(x + 2 )(x - 3)² = 0 → A
