Answer

20%

Step-by-step explanation

let the cost of tie = x

Then cost of a pair of pants = (100+50)%x

= 150%x

= 1.5x

The cost of shirt = (100+25)%x

= 125%x

= 1.25x

(1.5x - 1.25x)/1.25x × 100

0.25x/1.25x × 100

0.2 × 100 = 20%
