What is the answer of 5x-9=7x+6-2x

no solution because if you combine like terms on the right side you will see 7x and -2x are alike then you will get the sum of 5x and whats left +6. Then you change signs of the 5x on the right side which turn to a -5x then subtract it from both sides then you left with nothing but -9 on the left side equal sign and +6 on the right side of it. you left with nothing else to do because the x's are gone.

Answer: No solution.

Since x is on the right side of the equation, switch the sides so that it is on the left side of the equation.

7x+6−2x=5x−9

Subtract 2x from 7x.

5x+6=5x−9

Move all terms containing x to the left side of the equation.

Subtract 5x from both sides of the equation.

5x+6−5x=−9

Combine the opposite terms in 5x+6−5x.

Subtract 5x from 5x.

0 + 6 = - 9

Add 0 and 6.

6 = - 9

Since 6≠−9, there are no solutions.
