Answer:

Maybe write from the perspective of a woman who is angry because she does so much work but still has no power or right to vote. She could've gotten into an argument with her partner and feels unheard and unappreciated. The monologue could start right after this argument so that you have a "moment before," which really helps when making the writing interesting.
