Correct answer: B) Lipids

Lipids are that molecule, which contain hydrocarbon and is responsible for making the building blocks of the structure and function of cells.

Example of fats include waxes, oils, and vitamins such as A, D, E, and K.

The most important function of the fat inside the body is energy transformation and heat insulation.

The adipose tissue act as an insulator of the body by trapping the heat across the important organ of the body, they also provide cushioning to the organs and protect them from mechanical shock and damage.

Lipids provide protection against cold.Lipids are also known as fat that play a important role in our body. They provide energy to the body and helps in producing hormones.Every vital organ of the body has a layer of protection of fat just below them. The energy released is stored in the form of lipids in adipose tissue. In this way by providing temperature by help of fat ,lipids provide protection from cold.
