a. electrical
nechanical would not make sense because we use electricity to power it, chemical is incorrect because that is usually used in organic processes (i.e the conversion of food to ATP) and geothermal would be incorrect because that is a product of electricity being used (i.e PC vents, batterys etc.). this means the logical answer is electric
